Gilium
About

Overpower Labs builds calibration automation for people who do calibration.

Gilium began on a working calibration bench as a way to stop re-typing the same readings into the same spreadsheets. It grew into a full test executive with 165 procedures, a shared instrument driver library, and reporting built for certificate packages.

Overpower Labs is a small, engineering-led company. The people who answer support email are the people who wrote the procedures.

How we build

Principles behind every procedure

Written from the specification

Each procedure starts from the manufacturer's performance test and adjustment specifications, not from a generic template. Test points, ranges and tolerances match the document your auditor will ask for.

The driver does the talking

Procedures never send raw bus commands. Every instrument interaction goes through a shared, tested driver, so a fix for one procedure benefits every procedure that uses the same instrument.

Data first, then the report

Raw readings, nominal values, limits and units are kept for every point and exported unchanged. The PDF is a view of the data, not the only record of it.

Runs on your bench, under your control

Gilium is a desktop application. Your measurement data stays on your network unless you choose to move it.

The name

Why a lotus?

A lotus grows in still water and opens the same way every morning. Calibration is the same idea: a quiet, repeatable process that gives every measurement its reference. The lotus in the Gilium mark is a reminder that the goal is consistency, not speed for its own sake.
